Gold-Standard Surgery

Higher standards of surgical care.

Surgery
We understand there is nothing routine when it comes to your pet’s surgery, so we dedicate ourselves to incorporating the latest surgical techniques and advancements to provide the highest-quality care.

Surgical Team At Commonwealth Animal Care, we can perform a wide array of surgical procedures outside the range of a typical veterinary practice. Some of the surgeries our expert team can perform include:

  • Spay and neuter surgery for cats, dogs, and other species
  • Mass removal
  • Abdominal exploratory surgery
  • Soft tissue surgery (e.g., wound and laceration repair)
  • Dental procedures
  • Orthopedic procedures (e.g., fracture repair)
  • Specialty procedures (e.g., splenectomy, brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome repair)
Although our surgical team is highly skilled in performing various specialized procedures, some surgeries require a devoted specialist. In that case, we can refer your pet to a specialist who can travel to our hospital, or perform the procedure in a specialty practice. Types of Surgeries
